Who We Are

Packtronix designs and builds packaging and food processing machinery for manufacturers who need equipment engineered around their actual product — not adapted from a generic model. We work across food, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications, with particular depth in difficult filling, weighing, and line-integration challenges that standard equipment struggles to handle.

We’re a founder-led technical team, not a large sales organization — every project has direct engineering involvement from design through commissioning.

Why Choose Us

Most packaging machinery starts as a catalogue model, adjusted until it’s “close enough.” We start with your product’s actual behavior — flow, moisture sensitivity, tolerance, container format — and engineer to match it.

Joseph, our founder, holds a degree in Food Processing and Culinary & Bakery Arts and has spent 15 years building and commissioning machinery across food and pharmaceutical applications. That combination — hands-on production knowledge and machine-building expertise — is why manufacturers bring us their hardest filling and packaging problems, not just their standard orders.

Our Story

Dcosta Industries began in 1994. In 1989, the business became Packtronix, focused specifically on direct-to-manufacturer packaging solutions — engineering and building machinery without intermediary layers between us and the client.

In 2019, Joseph earned a degree in Food Processing and Culinary & Bakery Arts, adding food-industry-specific process knowledge to the engineering side of the business. That combination led to Cheftronix, supporting food entrepreneurs with process and equipment guidance beyond the machine itself.
